This reel contains excerpts from some of my newest epic scores for motion picture trailers. I have had previous scores used in over 20 official trailers, including: X-Men 3, Pirates of the Caribbean 3, Spiderman 3, The Illusionist, The Da Vinci Code, 10.000 BC, Last Mimzy etc.
This reel contains a variety of examples of game-, movie and trailer related scores using female and male vocals. The reel contains tracks from published and unpublished scores for television, trailers and video games, including examples from my Academy Award winning score for Tomb Raider Legend.
This percussive reelĀ displays a great deal of my custom percussion recordings. I have been recording custom percussion samples for several years using a variety of different techniques (ex. solo percussion with two sticks, ensemble percussion with 10 sticks, exotic/home made percussion etc). The majority of the percussion samples have been sampled between 6-20 velocity layers and between 5-10 repetition pr. layer. All the custom percussion has been recorded in halls, since the natural reflection of a hall brings a variety of dynamics to the instruments that cannot be reproduced with artificial/algorithmic reverbs.
This reel contains examples from 8 different dark, ambient scores used in my BAFTA, GDC, G.A.N.G, D3 and TEC/Mix Foundation award winning score for Tomb Raider Legend. All the scores are from one particular level in the game. The core intention was to make it a journey into darkness as the player progresses deep underground. While the first scores are somehow dark – the musical journey continues to become darker and darker until it reaches an abyss.
This reel contains examples from different dark, non-rhythmic ambient scores used in a variety of different games. The reel crosses into the landscape of sound design and uses a variety of subtle orchestral elements to create slight variations in the ambience.
This reel contains a mix of different ethnic inspired tracks from a variety of scores for games, trailers and commercials. The reel contains instruments from all over the world including Native Drum Ensembles, Taiko Drum Ensembles, Himalayan Voices, Didgeridoos, Throat Singers, Gaelic-, Kurdish, Arabic and Turkish singers. In addition the majority of the tracks are spiced up with a variety of electronica, drones/atmospheres.
